NI.CA.MOTO Adventures is our reason to keep going back to Nicaragua. Our tours are organized and guided by Salvador and Jon who live in Switzerland and California respectively. Our bikes are maintained by the Yamaha Authorized Dealer and our local team looks after them in Nicaragua.
Our mission is to allow riders to explore NIcaragua and Central America on top of a MOTOrcycle.
Our community work includes two areas. One is to promote rural tourism to increase the income of poor families in remote locations and the second is to increase healthcare access by utilizing part of the tour profits to bring medicines and healthcare professionals in rural areas
Salvador is known as SalCar in many motorcycle forums including Advrider and HorizonsUnlimited. Salvador has travelled by motorcycle in more than 30 countries in Latin America, Europe and Africa and has travelled to almost 50 countries across the globe. NI.CA.Moto was founded by Salvador as a reason to go back to Nicaragua and do what we love – adventure riding. Salvador works a global director for a multinational company.
Jon was the second motorcyclist to join the NI.CA.Moto Adventure team and he is our first motorcycle tour guide. Jon is a professional photo journalist, motorcycle guide, motorcycle clinic instructor and racer. Jon has extensive experience adventure riding and racing in US, Latin America, Europe and Africa. Jon is also known as Inte in several motorcycle forums such as Advrider.com
